- Jukjeon Dental Hospital was established in 2010 as a branch of the College of Dentistry, Dankook University (www.dankook.ac.kr). The College of Dentistry has three branches : Cheonan, Sejong and Jukjeon. Cheonan and Sejong are located in Choongnam Province. Jukjeon Dental Hospital has a total dental care system near the Seoul metropolitan area about 30 min driving distance from Seoul and is located in the main campus of Dankook University, Yongin, Gyunggi province, South Korea. We have a six-story dental hospital building with 100 dental unit chairs. Nine clinical departments and one special care center for the disabled are serving total dental care for 70,000 visitors per year. Total 100 people including 26 clinical professors, residents, interns, dental technicians, and hygienists are working here. Graduate programs we offer here are prosthodontics, periodontics, pedodontics, oral surgery, endodontics and orthodontics. We began to offer residency programs in 2021. Every year we accept 6 residents.
- Our merits are serving our community. We have one of the biggest special dental care systems for the disabled in South Korea. Every year we have about 300 newly registered patients whom we offer the full dental service under the general anesthesia condition. We have two full time dentists, one full time anesthesiologist and four registered nurses who are only dedicated to the special service at the special dental center for the disabled. Every year many dentists and even the government agency visit us to see the center.
